Two poets and a naturalist walk into the woods...
Led by naturalist Lara Wardlow along with poets Paige Webb and Michael C. Peterson, this night hike in Avon Woods will engage with deep listening as we examine our sense of sound — perhaps our most primordial and nocturnal sense — as one of creative vitality.
In the passing from day to night, where do our own sounds and the sounds outside us converge? How do our imaginations echo in the space between?
After a short hike in the dark, we'll sit by the campfire to write and reflect.
Whether you’re a proficient outdoorsperson or new to the outdoors, we’d love to have you join us.
