Description

Science has been studying water for 100's of years, you would think we understand everything about it. This is not the case and there are many enigmas about water: - Why does warm water freeze faster than cold water? - Why does water expand when it freezes? - How can our heart pump blood through 100's of miles of capillaries? - Does water have a memory? - Why is wet sand firmer than dry sand? - Why does gelatin (99.9% water) not leak? - Why is ice slick? - Why are there isolated clouds that have defined edges? - Can we make a battery from sunlight and water? By weight our bodies are made of 70% water. However by counting the molecules we find 99.9% of the molecules in our body are water. Water's bipolar molecule gives it many unique properties that we are just beginning to understand. This talk explores recent scientific discoveries about water and how it affects your health. ------ This is the second talk by the same author, and a rare opportunity you won't want to miss. The Olive House hosts a comfortable intimate setting with a leading-edge author.
