Join us Saturday, November 19th @10am for the 3rd annual Dirty Birdz 5k turkey trot. Who: YOU, duh. Where: My house (3546 Perry Street, Denver CO 80212) As most of you know, one of our favorites, Betty Simpson, was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer last March. While she continues to kick cancers ass, we will show our support by donating ALL of the proceeds of ticket sales to PanCAN. PanCAN's mission is to take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, building community, sharing knowledge, and advocating for patients. PanCAN builds community for all who are impacted by pancreatic cancer – patients, family, caregivers, etc. PanCAN was the first organization dedicated to fighting pancreatic cancer in a comprehensive way, and for more than two decades, PanCAN has grown a nationwide movement tackling the disease from all angles. Meet at 10am at my house. We will start the run, walk, bike, scoot, crawl (you do you) at 10:30am followed by backyard bagels and mimosa's. Let's come together to have some fun and do something sort of healthy (running + drinking = sorta healthy?) and celebrate with Betty!!
