Acupressure is the application of pressure to specific points on your body. By doing so, you can alleviate tension, promote circulation, and even reduce side effects of cancer treatment. Acupressure is similar to acupuncture, but the person uses their fingers rather than needles. It has become a common self-care technique while undergoing cancer treatment. Class is open to Northern Westchester/Phelps Hospital cancer patients/survivors and their caregivers. With Vanessa McKay-Barr L.Ac Classes are held in person in the Yablon Resource Room at the NWH Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center, 400 East Main St., Mt. Kisco, NY 10549. If you require in-person ADA accommodations, please email us 72 hours prior to each class at [email protected] Call 914-242-8146 for more information.
