About Snowbird: Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen set to Debut at The Star in Frisco The Star in Frisco has been bustling with activities but this Fall, their latest concept brings to the area a highly anticipated upscale venue - Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen. Suburban residents will no longer have to drive far to enjoy a downtown night vibe. With over a decade in the nightlife industry owning and operating venues, David Nguyen and Snow Vo have partnered with Sobe Ahmed, a hotelier, to fill the nightlife void in Frisco. The 4,100 square foot space will include dining and lounge seating immersed in an intimate setting that’ll have you flowing from dinner to cocktails and into the late night as the music progresses with a mix of 80s, 90s, and modern-day pop beats. The team behind Snowbird has the honor of introducing Chef Walter Bandt, a Dallas native, who has traveled and studied abroad for his passion for international cooking. He is excited to be back home and sharing his enthusiasm for his culinary classics infusing Latin American with European and Asian cuisine. Behind the 35-foot bar, mixologists will be concocting classics and unique cocktails created exclusively for Snowbird by the master mixologist behind the Tipsy Alchemist, Steve ‘Scuba’ Underhill, whose ideology of natural ingredients and house-made syrups with no preservatives is the cardinal rule behind his crowd pleasing cocktails. With no shortage for the glitterati, bottle service will also be a mainstay at Snowbird.
