Hi friends! 😄 Welcome to DFW Young & Social, a growing community for people ages 25-40 (give or take a few years!) who want to try out new activities while building connections! Fast-paced, flirty, fun, and danceable to hundreds of today's top Latin pop hits, Salsa is a fantastic dance to have in your pocket! If you've never danced Salsa before, or if you don't feel confident about your steps yet, don't worry—this class is designed so that you can drop in comfortably even if you haven't joined us before. Each class covers new material, and it's all beginner friendly! Important Info: Class length: 1 hour Cost: $12 per person (cash, Venmo, or Eventbrite) All participants will need to sign waivers before taking part in the event. Click here to learn more. 8:00pm: Check-in inside the lobby! 8:15-9:15: Salsa lesson! :) What to Wear: Clothing: There's no formal dress code, but wear something you feel comfortable moving in! Women often wear blouses and jeans, or dresses (if the skirt flares, or is extra short, I recommend shorts underneath!) Men often wear t-shirts and jeans, or button-downs and slacks. Dress up if you like, no pressure if you don't! Shoes: Smooth-soled shoes are best. Comfortable dress shoes often work well for men, but something like keds is a pretty good option. Women often wear heels; however, unless it has an ankle strap, I wouldn't recommend it. Avoid: Anything with heavy tread, flip flops, sandals, stilettos, slingbacks, and platforms.
