As we begin to put our gardens to sleep for the winter, our herbal kin also prepare for their winter slumber by sending their resources and energy deep down into their roots. This makes the autumn a great time to harvest medicinal roots for teas, tinctures, and more.
We'll dig up roots in the garden and talk about best practices for harvest, drying, and preparations while we sip on a prepared tea.
This class will be led by folk herbalist and teacher Annie Derek.
