I have a question regarding my Subaru Legacy...

So I currently own a 2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5i and I honestly want to tune it out but unfortunately they don't make ANY aftermarket parts for my particular engine. So my first question if there any engine like say a 1.8 l Turbo engine that I could swap out and put in my car or would it all be a waste of time. Basically the goal I'm working on is turning the Legacy into a Impreza. So I figured I'd see if it's possible and get ideas on what the best way to go about it would be. It's either this or cut my loss and find a Honda CR-X, maybe S-200 or time out a Eclipse..... what would you guys do??
