Momma cat and 2 kittens

I have a stray cat that had kittens under my shed they kept coming out and going straight to my dog that will eat them. I took them and put them on the other side of my house on a dog bed but yesterday morning 1 died I think due to it being to cold:( I brought the 2 kittens inside last night due to the rain but can't bring the momma cat in side due to it being kinda wild and I have small children. Please someone help I can trap the momma cat if someone can take them.
