I have a 3 year old unaltered, all white female chihuahua that I need to rehome. I’m moving out of state, and cannot bring her with me. She’s high energy and playful, and would do best in a home with older children. She’s been raised with cats, and has little to no dog socialization. She’s been primarily an indoor pup, but does enjoy an occasional warm afternoon nap in the backyard. She’s fully kennel trained, and enjoys her own quiet time there at night. We leave her door open so she can nap there during the day if she pleases. She has her favorite squeaky toys, a few sweaters, and several cozy blankets for her kennel. She’s the smartest dog I’ve ever met, hands down. She could be a phenomenal dog, with the right partner. I’m looking for her forever home for her. She’s extremely emotional and needs to bond with someone who will patiently appreciate the magnificent animal she is. She is easily scared, so older children would be best. She has had some occasional potty accidents, once on the couch, but mostly just going too close to the corner of the potty pads. She also uses her kennel at night, so we just simply wash her blankets as needed. She is unaltered, and her vet has stated that her potty accidents will probably resolve with spaying. The potty issue is what concerns me for her. I will not rehome her to anyone who practices corporal punishment. She’s a tiny little bean, and it could damage her greatly. No hitting households, please. She also needs to be kept indoors, as she gets easily cold. She’s a master Houdini at getting out of her sweaters, and prefers a throw blanket to snuggle in. She is free, to the right family. It would greatly comfort me to find her the right fit, as it’s not her fault I have to move. Please respond with your phone number so I may contact you directly.
