Driver to pick up and deliver landscape equipment and farm tractors, using pickup truck and tag-along trailer. Must be proficient driving with trailers. Under CDL limits. Busy days but back by 5:00. Health benefits, Simple IRA, paid vacation and holidays. Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills as this person will be considered the “face” of the business to the customers they come in contact with. Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities: • Drive a pickup truck with a trailer • Back up trailers into driveways • Pick up and deliver machinery to customers’ homes throughout the day • Greet customers with kindness and enthusiasm • Report timely and accurately to supervisor • Speak with customers at their homes if necessary • Drive safely and responsibly • Keep trucks clean of any trash or debris in interior and wash exterior of trucks as needed Education and Qualifications: • An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Driver’s License required • Be at least 18 years old • Have prior trailer driving experience • Must be able to pass a drug test Work Environment: • Moving mechanical parts on all machines • Outdoor weather conditions and environments vary throughout the year. We are open in all weather conditions • Spend much of the day sitting while driving but exerting physical strength while out of the vehicle Physical Demands: • Lift, push, pull, and maneuver equipment regularly • Bend, reach, hold, grasp, sort • Sometimes will need to push equipment onto a trailer because it will not start • Must be able to read documents Hearing: • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate w/internal and external customers and respond to instructions Toreku Tractor & Equipment, Inc is a family-owned power equipment dealership where all employees take part in sharing responsibilities and duties across the business.
