Band looking for mobile engineer to track/record "in house"

So here's the story, we are a alternative rock band that have our own rehearsal space in Rockaway beach queens. We have obviously thought about going somewhere to record say 4 or 5 songs but of course that's pretty damn costly at the moment, especially If you want it done right. Not that we are looking to do some low budget crappy recording but we have figured to maybe have an experienced engineer come in and track the songs so we can send it somewhere to get it mixed properly. As said we have a rehearsal space that is set up with our gear of course and everything is mic'ed such as the drums, amps.. And we use a behringer xair 18 that we use when we practice. So I know that can be used as an interface. Believe me I as the drummer don't know much about the process but I know the basics. So yea maybe you have a laptop with whatever program and whatever else you would need being that you would be mobile as in coming in here and doing your thing. I could elaborate a hell of a lot more on this but it would be a book..so if this right up someone's alley in a sense they absolutely know what they are doing then hit me up and we can talk more.
