Seeking crew members to work as part of a team constructing barbed wire fences to secure abandoned mines primarily in Clark County and surrounding area. Get paid to travel, explore, and camp in remote locations all over Southern Nevada. Work in all weather conditions and climates encountered throughout the state. Experience building fences is preferred but not required. Must have a reliable 4x4 truck that can carry materials. Must be able to travel frequently on short notice. The position is full-time year-round starting immediately. Must be located in the Las Vegas area. The typical schedule is M-F working a minimum of 10 hour days. Stay at home every night when working local. Minimum Qualifications: -The ability to follow directions safely -Smartphone with a working camera -Ability to read and write English and operate a tablet -4x4 truck to carry materials and personal gear ($25 per day plus mileage reimbursement at standard IRS rate) -Be able to carry and hike with at least 85 pounds on rough terrain The ideal applicant would possess: -Team player with a good attitude even when conditions and terrain are tough -Overlanding/offroading experience preferred but not required -ATV/motorcycle experience -Orienteering and map reading skills -Emergency medical training/CPR is a huge plus (WFR/EMT) -Basic mechanic skills and tools to work on your vehicle in the field Benefits -Hourly wage depending on experience -Raise review every 6 months. -$25 per day for truck reimbursement plus mileage reimbursement -$25 per day for per diem or $35 per day for per diem when camping -Paid lodging when applicable -Get paid every Friday -All tools and materials are paid for by the company -Health insurance available after 3 Months This is a great position for individuals that love to be outside and work independently and as part of a team. Ideal candidates have prior experience working outdoors conducting fieldwork i.e. State Parks, Forest Service, Firefighting, Military, River Guide, Mountain Guide, etc. Do not reply if you cannot read and write using proper English and correct grammar.
