Join the mission of keeping old time country music alive! The Fiddlers and Musicians of New Mexico (FMNM) have held their jam sessions at the Bosque Farms Community Center for many years, providing a laid back atmosphere for listening and dancing to old time country music. Musicians line three walls of the meeting room and take turns leading songs. Chairs are arranged on one side of the room for guests and a small dance floor is smack dab in the middle. If you play an instrument, sing, or just like to listen, it’s time to give them a try. For $12 a year you could become a member and receive their newsletters; an invitation to the annual members’ only events; and the privilege of participating in jams. Members and guests alike, make a $3 donation at the door for each jam session. The next two jams are on Saturday, November 12, from 6-9 pm and Sunday, November 27, from 2-5 pm.
