Summary: This position reports to the Store manager and is responsible for cleaning, servicing and chemically treating pools of customers who purchase service(s) for a specific period of time. Qualifications/ requirements: This job requires high work quality standards relating to the work performed and the image and Brand represented. Job Success is determined by continual customer satisfaction and great customer relations. Pool Service Technicians must be able to communicate politely and complete all daily tasks in a timely and accurate manner. The associate applying for a service technician must be will to work in adverse weather conditions, as long as it is safe. Must be a licensed 'safe" driver in the state of Florida, with a clean driving record. Must strictly comply to all road signs, driving rules and regulations. Essential Job Functions: Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Follow up and service all pool accounts assigned daily. Will use pool cleaning equipment and chemicals provided by employer. The technician will clean, service and chemically treat pools as assigned. Complete and review assigned paperwork, monitor and control individual inventory, learn and understand the different filtration systems and operations, learn proper pool maintenance procedures. Physical Requirements: Must be able to swim, must be 18 years of age, have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high heat and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to move 50 pounds repetitively and often. The associate must be able to stand, bend, stoop stretch and climb repetitively and often. The associate must be able to to operate a motor vehicle and have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.
