Athletes with experience in working within a team - moving is very much a team sport! Coachable employees who are willing to learn the correct way to move furniture. Candidates who don't mind weekend shifts - we are always fully booked on the weekend and we usually require our new guys to work at least one weekend day. Candidates who maintain integrity in their work and are eager to become a professional in this field. Experience is not necessary - we will train you on how to move things the right way. Must be ready to learn and practice proper techniques. Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, cell phone, RELIABILITY, trustworthiness, and formal and friendly communication with customers. Ability to handle the athletic nature of this job. We have two tiers of movers. Beginner movers are hired at $16/hr for a four-week training period and raised to $17-$18/hr after 4 weeks (depending on performance). We like to move our non-lead movers up quickly to $18-19/hr, depending on your quality of work. You also get to split cash and card tips with your crew for the day, which usually averages around $30-$50 per person daily. Lead Movers are fully trained professionals and earn $20-$24 per hour plus an equal split of tips. Lead movers must be 21+, undergo a training period as a mover, and be able to pack, load, wrap, communicate with clients, direct a crew when needed, and secure a good review from the job. The weekly tips can range from $200-$400 on average. We are proud to pay our guys well and, in turn, expect you to represent our company to the best of your abilities. A typical full-time schedule can be between 30 and 50 hours. Overtime is available to those who seek it. We love what we do! Come grow with us!
