I’ve been a musician for essentially my whole life (I’m in my late 20s), I studied music in school, and I have experience all over the stage and sound booth both playing/singing and setting up and running live sound and lights, as well as recording live and studio music. I unfortunately have not been very involved in music in the last few years due to a variety of life circumstances, but I recently moved and have entered a new era of mental clarity and creativity and I want to put it to use. My preference would be to come alongside on and help to create a full-scale project with someone, and I’d love to help you produce or mix an album and/or help you sound exceptional at your weekend gigs, however the main factor for me is that I want to work on a project where I enjoy the music and the message and can see myself investing whatever amount of time and creativity into the project, so I’m keeping myself open to more narrow possibilities as well. If you’re looking for somebody to help you write lyrics, set up click/tracks/MIDI for your live shows, add a little color to your harmonies/melodies, or if you just want help choosing keys for your songs that suit your voice and/or sound good with adjacent songs I also want to hear from you. Whether you desire to just record some songs to put up on Spotify for your friends and family or whether you’re trying to sell out 5 straight days at Madison Square Garden, I want to hear from you. I have experience with using and own a variety of music software and hardware, however I do not have a place to do any serious recording, so if I were to mix and/or master something for you, you would have to record the tracks on your own or book time in a studio. The only exception is that it may be possible for me to set up a space for vocals or less-intense acoustic instruments under the right circumstances. I enjoy a varied spectrum of artists and genres and would be open to working with any artist whose musicianship and/or songwriting shows potential and whose music has a meaningful and relatable message. That said, I would say that the top 10 artists that have culminated in my preferred musical palate or at least had the most overall musical influence during my life would probably be: The Beatles Green Day Linkin Park My Chemical Romance Outkast Pink Floyd Queen Rage Against the Machine Styx System of a Down (Some Honorable Mentions: Eminem, Joji, Rammstein) If you want to take a chance on me and you think you might be able to pique my musical taste, please reach out to me!
