Friendly Female Degu Around 1 year old. $25 Elizabeth West Virginia Pick Up ONLY No Enclosure. Only reason for rehoming is she is not getting along with the rest of the Colony. Degus are similar to Chinchillas. They can live up to 8 years. They need high quality Guinea Pig food, Fresh Veggies and Timothy Hay (Not Alfalfa) Like chinchillas they need to be offered a dish of bathing powder 3x a week or their fur will get oily which can have a negative effect on their health. The Need a LARGE cage they are very active and love to play, run, climb and CHEW they need wood chew toys to wear down their teeth.
