Piedmont Foundation Services is looking for a full-time Geotechnical Driller to join our team Location: Atlanta, GA Driller must have a clean CDL A driver’s license with the ability to work safely, efficiently and consistently. Expectations: -Operate and maintain drilling rigs -Communicate effectively with the company, helper and client -Help train new inexperienced employees -Troubleshoot issues that arise with the drill rig -Maintain a well-organized clean truck, trailer and drill rig -Be efficient with hollow-stem augers, environmental wells, mud rotary and rock coring Requirements: -Class A CDL -Willing to travel -Work outside all year round -Lift up to 90lbs -Follow company policies Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday with opportunities for overtime -Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record -Must be comfortable lifting heavy objects, being on your feet, and dealing with outside conditions -A construction background or mechanical background is helpful, but not mandatory Most work is currently local in and around Atlanta where employees meet at the shop in the morning and return in the evening. Traveling opportunities around the Southeast do exist. Pay: Starting at $24 per hour plus commissions -A moving bonus will be paid to help with moving cost -Medical, life insurance, dental and vision -401k and profit sharing -Vacation time
