Job Duties
· Perform service and repairs on fire sprinkler systems for commercial/industrial/residential sites
· Participate in On-Call rotation
· Receive service calls from CSR/dispatch and work directly with office
· Use hand and power tools
· Cut and thread pipe
· Assist with and perform water based inspections
· Maintain accurate and precise documentation daily
· Oversee work of helpers, Mentor and coach as necessary
· Read and understand drawings and blueprints.
· Test piping systems for leaks and read gauges.
· Climbing ladders and scaffold and the ability to work in excess of 40 feet from the floor
· Lift up to 75 lbs above head
· Standing for 8 hours
Requirements
· 4 + years documented experience in the fire sprinkler industry.
· Extensive knowledge of various types of Sprinkler Systems
· Knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and standards
· Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and new technologies
· Self motivator with no supervision required
· Maintain compliance with all company and state/federal safety standards, regulations, and procedures
· Perform work in an efficient and organized manner
· Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
· Display professional appearance and act as company representative
· Maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Maintain clean company vehicle/required service/inventory
· Maintain all required certifications
· NICET Levels 1 & 2 a plus
· Backflow Prevention Tester and Repair Certification a plus
