We run multiple successful car washes in Bergen County and are looking for a manager for one of our locations. Managers work 5 days a week with 2 days off as well as get 2 weeks of paid vacation a year. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience managing a car wash and possess strong managerial skills. The candidate should have knowledge of car wash operation, chemicals used, and equipment. The manager will be responsible for: 1) Making sure all equipment is working properly. 2) Making sure chemicals are working as intended, and ordering new chemicals when needed. 3) Making sure the customers are satisfied with the service and address any on site customer complaints. 4) Keeping track of labor, and scheduling employees, so that the site is operating at maximum efficiency. 5) Hiring and training new employees, when needed. 6) Keeping the site clean, both inside the car wash, and around the property. 7) Taking inventory and ordering supplies, when needed. 8) Making sure the car wash is operating. 9) Maintaining high volumes of cars without compromising quality. 10) Enforcing established procedures. 11) Work with the office for any administrative needs. 12) Understanding all prices and services offered. 13) Understanding all crew positions and responsibilities. 14) Overall business performance and increasing customers. The candidate should also: 1) Be able to clearly communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner. 2) Be able to speak English, Spanish a plus. 3) Have strong observational and analytical skills. 4) Be able to clearly communicate with their employees about responsibilities, and tasks needed to be done. 5) Be able to work with the assistant manager to make sure car wash is operational and clean. 6) Have knowledge of a computer and software such as Microsoft Office, and Email. 7) Be okay with standing for extended periods of time.
