High End Lighting and Furniture showroom based in Soho is looking for a lead facilities person. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Working under the general direction of the showroom managers to maintain the physical order of the showroom and basement storage Moving furniture around the showroom Installing heavy, fragile and expensive chandeliers on a 14 foot ceiling General assembly of lighting and furniture Occasional work off site at other NY based showrooms Trash removal Packing/shipping General organization Candidates must: Be happy to take direction as well as work well on their own and with a team Be neat and orderly, and dress appropriately for a luxury showroom Have experience with basic electrical work - ability to safely and correctly install lighting Have ability/confidence working on a 12 foot ladder. Be able to lift 70 lbs Be punctual and show up to work every day with a positive can-do attitude We’re looking for someone to stay with the company and grow with the team over the years.
