Construction company is looking for a skilled tradesman/construction worker to join team responsible for general repairs of apartments located in both Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Duties will include everything from minor repairs to overseeing teams of contractors for major repairs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have experience with hand tools and basic knowledge of door installation, dry wall install, plastering, and painting. General carpentry, minor electrical installation, tiling and minor roof work experience a plus. Looking for great work ethics, punctuality, good team player and a desire to learn. Duties may also include daily repair and general upkeep of real estate properties and grounds. Maintain a safe work environment at all times and report any safety concerns/issues to ownership. Maintain the required property uniform and ensure a professional image and attitude at all times Work within budgetary guidelines when purchasing supplies or service. On-call duties may be required and overtime if necessary. Must be able to follow instructions well and work without direct supervision. -Great communication skills a plus. Spanish is not required but is helpful. COMPENSATION: $20-22 per hour and depending on experience. Full-time hours (@35-40 hours/wk).
