Description

A9 Green / Total Green Energy Solution, LLC (www.A9Green.com) is an industry leader in energy modeling, diagnostic, and energy efficiency improvement serving Greater Boston Area. With expertise in energy efficiency consulting, architecture, and building science, we help our clients to build better homes, maximize energy efficiency performance and reduce construction costs. We work with builders, developers, architects, and homeowners to build ENERGY STAR, Passive House, and LEED-certified buildings while enhancing comfort and protecting the Earth. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is willing to work in a semi-startup environment to learn new concepts in Energy Efficiency/Green Construction and show that s/he can bring immediate value to the organization. Recently, we have begun to expand our air-sealing division, particularly in ABS (AeroBarrier Seal). ABS is a new technology where we can super air-seal the homes/buildings (much better than even spray foam, which is not good for our environment) with totally environmentally friendly water-based material. It is called Digitial-Airsealing since the whole process is computerized and the results are guaranteed at the end. (Aerobarrier dramatically reduces the time required to reach sufficient air tightness in the home and can seal ‘pinprick’ holes/seams/cracks in the home’s envelope that are otherwise very difficult to impossible to address with conventional methods, allowing for much tighter sealing (see www.A9Green.com/ABS). We seek to market this service to both existing clients, in addition to finding new opportunities for ABS. Starting this year, we have seen an exponential increase of interest in our service/product. This is a multi-disciplinary position, which requires office work, potentially some field activities, and customer interaction. We are looking for a motivated and energetic marketing/salesperson with a proven track record to help grow our business in Massachusetts and potentially nearby states. If interested we will also teach you how to do energy modeling, field inspection/testing, etc. at a later time depending on your potential. Responsibilities • Assist in setting up of power tools, machines, and computers at the job site • Cleaning up tools and machinery, and getting the truck and equipment ready for the next job • Help in mobilization, prep work, operating equipment & clean-ups • Work safely at heights and in enclosed spaces • Erect and dismantle ladders and scaffolds Desired Skills and Experience • Hands-on, organized & quick • Sharp & meticulous • High school diploma or GED - New graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply! • Valid driver's license with a good driving record • Be able to move weights/equipment of 50 pounds • Past experience in construction industry is very helpful If interested, please send a copy of your resume with a paragraph stating why you are interested in this opportunity.
