Sign up for one workshop, or all three! Learn some cooking skills from Marquette Dining's culinary professionals. October 13: Brunch for a Bunch - Cooking for others is a great way to bond and show how much you care. Whether it's a weekend afternoon with your roommates, or a visit home where you want to surprise your family with your new skills, Executive Chef Steve Zaharias (Cobeen Hall; formerly of Cafe At The Plaza and other fine dining spots) will walk you through tips and tricks for custom omelets, roasted potatoes, and how to make Hollandaise sauce. November 10: Healthy for the Holidays - During a season of food-based celebrations, we'll have the Dietary Needs Team (including Campus Dietitian Lucas Flaherty RDN, LDN) on hand to help prepare you to make the choices that are best for you. Focus will be on individual dietary needs, nutritional content, and portioning. No guilt or labeling anything as "bad foods"! December 8: Decorate & Take Holiday Sweets - Join our Executive Pastry Chef, Jen Osborne, to relax and decorate some festive goodies to eat right away or take home. Participants can let their inner artist out and master new techniques, or just relax and make fun (and tasty) mess.
