Description

Bring a canned food item to enter this hilly 5K fun-run put on by the Brooks Trailhead. Join us Saturday, November 19th for a challenging 5K fun-run through Wallingford. The little over 3-mile route* contains over 300ft elevation gain so get ready for a tough but enjoyable run. Finish the run back at the store where we'll have hot coffee and donuts to fill you back up and send you on your way. Stick around after the run, we'll be raffling off some great Brooks gear. Entry to the event is a donation of a single canned food item per participant. These items will be collected the day of the event and donated to FamilyWorks Wallingford Food Bank. *This is a fun-run, not a road race. Route is run on sidewalks and Burke-Gilman trail. Roads will not be closed so use caution when crossing streets or intersections.
