The District of Columbia’ Department of Employment Services (DOES), Jobs for Veterans’ State Grants Program is hosting and facilitating an Employer’s Panel discussion and Employment Fair to celebrate Veterans Day. This is an in-person event on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 4058 Minnesota Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20019 starting promptly at 10:00 am. Our panelist of employers will be from the following industries: IT/Cybersecurity, Transportation, Administrative, Human Resources, Logistic and Federal. These Agencies will give an overview of their organization, in-demand job opportunities, hiring processes, certifications and licensing requirements, career paths, etc. After the panelist overview, you will be allowed to interact with all employers in attendance. If you are a veteran, transitioning service member, and/or the spouse of a veteran, then this is an event you don’t want to miss.
