The National Institute of Minority Economic Development (NIMED) is conducting a regional workforce equity assessment on behalf of the Piedmont Triad Regional Council. We will be holding a public listening session at the Gunn Memorial Public Library on Nov 14, from 1:00 pm to 2:30pm We are interested in hearing your experiences in seeking employment, some of the successes you may have had, as well as some of the barriers you have experienced in finding a good job. Your participation is vital to our effort to provide a complete and accurate understanding of the workforce training needs in the area. Participants will be compensated for their time with a $20 Walmart gift card.
