Join us in-person at the Louisa Arts Center on Sunday, November 6th, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm for our 2022 Annual Meeting and Lecture! This year's speaker will be historian and preservation advocate Genevieve Keller, a national leader in historic preservation in rural contexts and the project lead in the crafting of Louisa County's 1993 architectural history report for the Thomas Jefferson Planning District. In addition to founding a consulting business for preservation planning, Land and Community Associates, Ms. Keller has served as a lecturer at the University of Virginia and as a member of the Charlottesville City Planning Commission. She currently chairs the Board of Trustees for Preservation Virginia, our state's largest non-governmental organization devoted to stewarding, interpreting, and advocating on behalf of Virginia's historic resources. Some brief presentations from Louisa County Historical Society will follow, with a recap of our activities in 2022 and a look at our outlook for upcoming publications, events, and major initiatives.
