Description

Scott is currently the CEO of Life on Mission Project. Their mission is to help nonprofits succeed by offering them marketing and media strategy. Serving the nonprofit community can only help make our local community and even the world a better place for all. Plain and simple. Scott is a 35-year Air Force veteran who chose to take a different path after retiring from the military. He decided he wanted to spend the rest of his working life giving back to the Fort Wayne community which had so graciously given to him since moving here in 2011. Scott had always been interested in philanthropy, but he wasn’t “Bruce Wayne” and didn’t have unlimited resources to support all those great nonprofit organizations. He decided to serve in a different way. After some introspection and a local nonprofit assessment, Scott found one of the things many nonprofits suffered from was a lack of affordable marketing and media to support their efforts. Scott decided to utilize his God-given tools, talents and abilities to serve those in need. With more than 30 years of experience in media development (primarily film), his military taught leadership training, and advanced education in marketing and strategic planning, he decided to focus on helping nonprofits tell their stories by helping with marketing and media strategy. As a result, Life on Mission Project was born. People don’t need to go to far off places to do mission work. We should be living our life on mission every single day, right where we live. That’s where the name Life on Mission comes from. It’s a Project, because it’s ongoing. He is also our video tech and board member for First Fridays Fort Wayne.
