Nanny (2022). Directed by Nikyatu Jusu. (97 min). Rated R.
Join us for a special screening of Nanny, the winner of this year’s Grand Jury Prize at Sundance. Nanny is a gem of a horror film that combines impressive filmmaking and powerful storytelling. It tells the story of Aisha, an undocumented nanny working for a privileged couple in New York City. As she prepares for the arrival of the son she left behind in West Africa, a violent presence invades her reality, threatening the American dream she is painstakingly piecing together.
Nanny is the directorial debut of filmmaker Nikyatu Jusu.
