Happy holidays! The annual BCCD southern chapter holiday party will be held at Rehoboth Beach Country Club on Thursday, December 8 at 6 pm.All members of the BCCD are welcome to enjoy the formal holiday party!The cost this year will be $65 per person payable on or before Friday, November 25 through Eventbrite. Each guest will have a choice of one of the two featured entrées. The remainder of the menu is fixed. There will be a cash bar with a reception starting at 6 pm. Dinner will be served at 7 pm. Christmas cocktail anyone? Menu: Passed hors d’oeuvre Shrimp wrapped in bacon Tomato Basil Bruschetta Beef Wellington 1st course Butternut squash BisqueMain Course (each guest chooses one), plus chef’s choice of starch and vegetable. 1. Shrimp-stuffed flounder with tomato cream sauceDesert Course Eggnog cheesecakeThe club requires gentlemen to wear collared shirts and does not allow blue jeans. While you may wear whatever fits within the above parameters, most of us dress up for this occasion. Kilts are considered formal wear and are welcomed. Ladies trimmed in leopard skin (or Jaguar fur as some of us refer to it) are awarded extra points. Christmas ties, loud holiday sweaters, and hats with jingle bells and colored lights are also acceptable.
