In America’s heartland, the Chicago Staff Band has come to represent the best in british brass banding traditions of The Salvation Army. It is composed of members of Salvation Army congregations from throughout metropolitan Chicago, dedicated to Christian service and musical excellence. Jordan Smith is an American singer, songwriter, and musician from Harlan, Kentucky. In 2015, Smith gained national recognition when he won season 9 of the singing competition The Voice. During his time on The Voice he was the show's 1st artist of the season to reach No. 1 in sales of pop songs in the iTunes Store, & set new sales marks on Billboard charts.
