Join Artspace for a free Día de Muertos celebration on Wednesday, November 2 from 5:00-8:00pm. Attendees will be invited to learn about the traditions of Día de Muertos while enjoying the following experiences: Collaborative ofrenda by artists Pepe Caudillo and Oami Powers Community ofrendas created by Artspace studio artists Live painting by Lety Alvarez from 6:00-8:00pmLive dance performance by Alma Latina at 7:00pmMini Ofrenda art activityFree conchas Artspace’s Día de Muertos celebration is free to attend and open to the public. Registration is not required but will help us to anticipate attendance. Artspace is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources; the United Arts Council of Raleigh + Wake County; and funded in part by the City of Raleigh based on recommendations of the Raleigh Arts Commission.
