Kateboards x CTF Skate Meet Up

This is a free event, but we are capping the event so please RSVP. The purpose of this meet up is to connect with our wonderful community and provide a safe and supportive space for you to skate. This event will be for all levels of riding and all ages with our average age group being between 25-45. This is a non-judgmental space and we are all here to support each other. We will have demo boards, and delicious treats from Bambucha (kombucha) and Bitchin' Sauce. Changing Tides will be there to share more about their initiatives at the start of the meet up. The Skate portion is usually around 1 hour. We meet in the grass area at Swami's Beach in Encinitas before we cross the PCH together to cruise the trail. The trail is mainly flat and smooth with two small hills that will be pointed out. Please always feel free to walk these hills or go at a speed you feel comfortable with. Your safety is our priority. We do not have anything planned for after the meet up, but I'm sure people will want to grab lunch or head to the beach. Maybe bring some extra clothes or beach attire in case you want to continue to enjoy the day in Encinitas. Please reach out with any questions. We look forward to seeing you on November 5th at 11am! Established in 2018, we foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for womxn to skate, connect, and progress. We host community skate meet ups twice per month in Encinitas, offer private skateboarding lessons, and provide quality cruiser boards with graphics by women artists. It has been wonderful to see this community grow, to watch friendships flourish, and confidence build on boards. This community is the heart and soul of Kateboards and we can't wait to skate with you!
