Welcome to the Fall 2022 Broadway Elementary Outdoor Book Fair and Family Event! We will have guest readers, music and dance presentations, carnival game booths, afterschool's activities vendors (Nihao Chinese, CodeREV), prize giveaways, and what else? Books and more books, of course! We are proud to host Literati's book fair where your entire family may browse and purchase books that will please every taste. After you've gotten your fill of books, go play in the activity booths and win prizes! Has the excitement left you and your kiddos hungry? Food and munchables will be available for sale with a variety of offerings. Kids Games: Yoyo Ball, Plinko, Rainbow Coin, Cornhole, Tattoos, Arts and Crafts and more! Readings and Presentations Schedule: 10:00AM - Broadway's Parent Olga Dongil: Storytelling. 10:30AM - NIHAO Chinese: Storytelling. 11:30AM - Author Kesia Eng: Book Reading and Signing of "Baby Bao at Dim Sum". 12:00PM - West LA Chinese Children's Chorus. 12:30PM - Author Jeff Gottesfeld: Book Reading and Signing "The Christmas Mitzvah". 1:00PM - Author and Broadway's Parent Edna Ma: Book Reading and Signing of "Travel, Learn, and See Your Friends". 1:30PM - Chinese Traditional Dance 2:00PM - Author Jolie Curran Book Reading and Signing of Mate and Rix Boredom: "Double Digit Addition with Regrouping." Event is free and open to all regardless of registration status, but an RSVP would be much appreciated so we can get an idea of planned attendance level. About FOBES: Friends of Broadway Elementary School is the parent-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports Broadway Elementary School. The funds raised through its efforts supplement the school’s operational budget to bring essential support and enrichments to all of Broadway’s students.
