ComedyWorx has been providing Improv comedy in the Triangle for the past 33 years. The away team will be performing the short form improv that has made us Raleigh's premier improv destination. We also make a mean risotto. Now Are the Foxes was voted best improv in Charlotte for the past two years. Made up of the best actors, improvisors, and comedians in the area, they brings a unique and hilarious style to every show. Impromptu met while going through the improv training program at Florida Studio Theatre, but really connected once they saw a group creating unscripted theatre. With backgrounds in acting, playwriting and storytelling, this genre woke up the improv fairies and Impromptu now travels around the world performing dramatic improv. Their current styles include Southern Gothic and Passion Noir, all laced with humor and passion, but more are percolating in their improv minds. --- The 9th annual New South Comedy Festival will feature 20 stand-up, improv, sketch, political, and musical comedy shows with guests from across the country from November 3-12th!
