Sign your tween up for an innovative and fun seminar I have developed with every tween girl in mind. The purpose and design of the ‘YouNiquely You…Commenses Towards Maturity’ seminar is to educate girls 9-13+ about their responsibility to their bodies, dispel the fear often associated with the menses and Celebrate Becoming. During the seminar, girls will have the opportunity to receive age-appropriate information in a creative format. They will sit beside other girls asking the same questions concerning the transition they are already experiencing or will soon experience. Each tween will leave with a personalized gift box. We discuss the uniqueness of the body and every tween understanding their responsibility to take care of their body as it changes and matures. We provide a forum to discuss menstrual options and dispel myths and old wives tales. We encourage each tween by discussing what happens once the cycle begins and how each girl is to take care of her body while at home or at school. We hope to assist parents who often times have no idea where to begin the conversation in the home. The seminar is meant to create an atmosphere of openness and normalcy as they approach this monumental change. Parents can join us in the AMEN CORNER. Register today!
