You’re invited to the Latino Policy Institute’s policy panel on the state of the mental and behavioral health workforce pipelines in Rhode Island. Experts from different sectors will discuss barriers that make it difficult to train and retain a workforce that can meet Rhode Islanders’ diverse mental health needs, specifically within the Latino and multilingual communities. The panel is in partnership with the Latino Mental Health Network of RI and through the support of Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI. There will be time for Q+A at the end of the panel. Food and refreshments will be provided. *Event will be livestreamed on Latino Policy Institute's Facebook page* The Latino Policy Institute stimulates public policy discourse by objectively examining and communicating the evolving Latino experiences in Rhode Island. The Latino Mental Health Network of RI works to recruit and retain aspiring and current Latinx/ multilingual mental health providers by providing support and professional development.
