Description

When you have a child with an autism diagnosis, your world can be filled with many unanswered questions. Sometimes it can feel like a very lonely struggle, but you are not alone. The best way to find answers and a source of reassurance and understanding is to get together with other families who are going through the same thing, or have been through it and are willing to lend their support to others. Early Autism Services is creating a safe space for autism parents to come together to share about their parenting journey. The meetings will start out with general topics but these topics are meant to facilitate rather than dictate the conversation. Meetings will take place at 6pm EST the last Wednesday of each month at our new ABA Therapy Center: 38219 Mound Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313. RSVP is required. Parents and guardians only. November 23rd: What is Autism December 28th: Effective ABA: What to Expect & Parent Advocacy January 25th: Providing Effective Reinforcement February 22nd: ABCs & Functions of Behavior March 29th: Toilet Training Children on the Spectrum To sign up go to: https://hipaa.jotform.com/222985233215051
