Reid Hailing from Philly, Elliott Reid, AKA Lieutenant Reid, got a early taste of DnB back in 1997 by listening to a local radio DJ named Starchild and from buying records from the infamous vinyl junkie Jason Magin at 611 Records. The Lieutenant got deep into the Philly DnB scene by working security at Dieselboy’s DnB curated night Platinum at Fluid Nightclub. Influenced by the sounds from 2 Bad Mice, Lemon D, Starchild, Roni Size, Dillinja, and Shy FX, Lt. Reid is a big proponent of the U.S. Drum and Bass scene. Lt. Reid uniquely blends Old School with New School to take junglists on a journey that spans multiple decades from the knowledge he has gained over his 20 years of DJing dipping in and out of Jungle, Liquid Funk, Sambass, Techstep and intelligent sounds. His talent as a DJ receives high praises as he is often sought after to either open or headline shows up and down the Eastcoast, sharing the stage with the likes of Friction, Edward Oberon, Mason, Dara, AMC, Flite, Echo Brown, AK1200, Jumping Jack Frost and MC Armanni Reign. Noteworthy accolades include making his way to the finals of Atlanta’s Billionaire Bass Brawl playing an all DnB set among competitors playing multiple subgenres in EDM.
