Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Requirements: • High School (or equivalent) • Driver's License & Clean Record • Georgia State Pest Control Certification Benefits: • Paid Weekly • Paid Time Off • Professional Development Assistance • Company Cell Phone Job Description: A pest control technician performs pest prevention through use of various pesticide applications and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) solutions such as trapping, mechanical exclusion, and sanitation in a manner that is legal, professional and environmentally conscious while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Receive service requests and complete service for all customers according to the established daily schedule. • Inspect properties and structures (including attics and sub-crawl spaces). • Identify and diagnose areas of concern and communicate findings with customers. • Determine most effective treatment type required for findings. Apply pesticides and/or IPM solutions to properties and structures while following safety procedures, label instructions and governing laws. • Respond, in a timely manner, to customers’ requests for service. • Complete and submit required paperwork which requires reporting to the office daily at the appointed time. • Update necessary customer information in the computer. • Operate spraying equipment, bait gun/injector, dust applicator, vacuum and various power and hand tools in performance of duties. • Safely using ladders, scaffolding, hoisting equipment, as required for exclusions. • Utilize appropriate protective gear and equipment during application • Load and unload equipment and materials on vehicle • Drive company vehicle to customers’ house or places of business. This requires possessing a valid driver’s license and maintaining a good driving record within company equivalency points policy. • Communicate with customers, branch/corporate personnel by phone, in person and/or in writing. • Obtain and maintain certifications/licenses as required by federal, state and local regulations. • Paid weekly • Job Type: Full-time Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Must be able to wear respirator • Must be comfortable climbing ladders • Must be able to work occasionally in tight spaces, on roofs, or in crawlspaces • Must be able to work outdoors in hot or cold environments Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
