Hello! We are seeking an experienced housekeeper and server to join our small bed and breakfast team. Our B&B is an award-winning, four-diamond luxury property that focuses on ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. The right candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and be extremely detail oriented. We truly wish to create a space where both the guests and the staff feel welcome and excited to be here! This is a full-time position with hours between 30-40 hours per week. Weekends are required. This position is not seasonal – meaning we are seeking a staff member to stay on with us for more than one year (preferably) and there is work during the slower tourist months. Essential Job Duties Include: - Cleaning rooms so they are ready for new guests - Cleaning common areas of the home and outdoor sitting areas - Laundry, folding, ironing - Assisting with event set up, clean up, and serving Requirements Include: - Desire to help - Strong communication skills - A positive attitude - Self-motivated - Incredible attention to detail -Strong work ethic with punctuality -Reliable source of transportation (vehicle) and valid Driver’s License -A clean background check Compensation Includes: - We are a living wage certified locally owned business and this position pays $20 / hour - Room tips - 3 paid sick days per year - Paid time off for your birthday - Shift meal - Snacks and drinks - End of season bonus after first full season - Vacation pay after first full season This job is very physical, and you will have to hustle on busier days. You must be able to use trunk strength, lift up to 50 pounds, abdominal muscles, lower back muscles, be able to climb up and down stairs, and adhere to all safety and company policies.
