Band needs an additional vocalist-instrumentalist

Description

Hey there - We are a five-piece band that just lost a member. Our current lineup is Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys. We just lost a guitarist-vocalist. We have two vocalists but feel we could use more vocal power plus an additional instrument if possible. We would be happy with another guitarist-singer again but would happily consider just a vocalist. If you do play guitar, it could either be as a rhythm or lead guitarist. The guitarist was happy to share the lead work with the guitarist that left and would be happy to do so again if you've got the chops for it. If you are with me so far you want some idea what kind of music we play... The best way to put it is we are blues-centric band - we play blues based music but not only the blues. The other thing to know is we are NOT playing a bunch of strictly 1-4-5 12 bar blues stuff. Don't get me wrong - we do play some of that but it is NOT the focus of this band. Some songs we know or are learning... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEtXT9w9AYU - Gotta get a little funk going (Second line style) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOv6olXpSfk - 12 Bar blues (with some funky stuff) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvUcWbiSnrk - Blues with a modern feeling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFAEaTKIT5o - More blues based stuff but NOT a 12 bar We have a version of "Take me to the River" that is not quite like anybody else's. We try to find a version of a song that works for us but if we can't we arrange ourselves. What you can expect from this band... We are not music majors but we are good players with decent grasp on music theory so it's easy for us to work stuff out. We do our homework but we don't overload everyone with too much to learn at any one time. We are open to your suggestions for new material. What you need to know... We are not going to be your back up band or change the overall material that we want to play. We are not looking to do the multi-night bar band thing for little money We are not in a hurry to work as we all know from hard won experience that first impressions matter. When we do go out we want to knock 'em dead. If you got this far we would to hear from you...
