Maintenance Supervisor - Full-time, Part time, or Flexible Hour Schedule Red Cedar Flats is one of East Lansing’s premier apartment communities, with over 450 residents and commercial retailers under management. () Red Cedar Flats is seeking an additional Maintenance Manager to manage general maintenance, light renovations, and coordinate third-party contracting work. If you have experience in any of these areas, we would love to talk with you. We are also happy to train an applicant who has a desire to learn a new trade. This position is a managerial and technical position, so the applicant must be organized and comfortable managing third-party contractors, other maintenance personnel, and the residential and retail clients. A neat appearance, an ability to lift over 50 lbs, a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation are prerequisites. Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour depending upon experience. Review given after 90 days of employment. Opportunity for growth with our expanding operations. A company pickup is also available for on-duty hours. Responsibilities: • Manage and assist with technical maintenance requests • Travel from property to property solving maintenance issues • Respond to maintenance emergencies, if necessary • Light snow removal for pedestrian safety, if necessary • Light landscaping to maintain curb appeal, if necessary Technical Qualifications: • Ability to diagnose basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues (not necessarily fix, but understand and coordinate third-party contractors) • Ability to track supplies used and job hours per maintenance call • Ability to work professionally and cleanly in tenant-occupied residences • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents • Must be able to pass background check Please let us know if you are interested in learning more or applying.
