JOB DESCRIPTION: The litter pick up crew picks up litter along the highway. Your morning will start off by having OUR Drivers pick you up at this address at 7:10am: ACC – Highland Campus; 6101 Highland Campus Drive; Austin, TX 78752; at the end of work shift, the drivers will bring you back to Highland Campus. You will be escorted by truck to the location. Litter pickup includes picking up debri on shoulders of the highway, but excludes traveled lanes and shoulders next to barriers. You will also pickup debri under bridges. Wherever there are grassy medians, the center shoulder shall be picked up. You will travel between Williamson, Travis county. Every day is a different route that you will cleaning on. WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY, occasional some Saturday as well. 7:30am to 4:30pm Hourly Rate: $15.00 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Inspect highway for litter and debris • Pick up scrap, metal, rags, paper, wood, plastic, glass, and rubber products along roads and highways. • Must be able to endure outdoor weather conditions. • Must be able to walk for long periods of time. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience • No Education required • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Recommend to management changes needed to reach the desired quality of service.
