Description
the CACC has been tasked with finding a location for a new airport with a footprint twice the size of Seatac. it has narrowed it's choices down to 2 sites in rural Pierce County. these sites sit on top of a sole source aquifer recharge area that provides a large percentage of drinking water to Pierce County residents. the pollution generated from an airport of this size would also runoff into rivers and streams, ending up in the Puget Sound. it threatens salmon and Orca habitats. for information on how you can help to stop this, please visit our facebook page: coalition against Graham and Eatonville-Roy airports
