Basketball Referees and Site Supervisors

Your primary duties are refereeing and/or site supervising YMCA Youth Basketball Leagues, this includes answering parent questions, directing foot traffic and keeping the event moving forward and on time. No previous experience is required, we can provide training and you do not need to be available for all event days to apply. Players are in elementary and middle school. Fridays – YMCA Peak Hoops Basketball Games – Various Sites in Boulder County. You will be assigned to only one site per shift. • Shift time – 4:00pm-9:00pm • Dates – November 4th, November 11th, November 18th, December 2nd, December 9th (There is no program the week of November 21st for Thanksgiving) Saturdays – YMCA Learn to Play, Recreational, and Developmental Basketball Games – Various Sites in Boulder County. You will be assigned to only one site per shift.. • Shift times – 8:30am-5:00pm; 8:30am- Noon; 1:00pm-5:00pm • Dates – November 5th, November 12th, November 19th, December 3rd, December 10th (There is no program the week of November 21st for Thanksgiving) Requirements/Qualifications: - Minimum age 16 - Understanding and previous knowledge of basketball and/or experience coaching sports - Ability to organize groups of people effectively - Ability to communicate and work well with a variety of people including children, staff, school staff, other host staff, and community members Link to the application: Link to our YMCA job list: Additional basketball and volleyball opportunities will be available in January!
