PCL is hiring a Lane County Area Director. This position is multi-faceted - one that is actively engaged with local Lane County communities where PCL provides services and recruits our team members, and one that provides operational and administrative leadership to the Leadership team in Lane County. This role ensures the highest quality of service provision and is a great place to work. This leader is instrumental in ensuring safe and exceptional support to people experiencing Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) and co-occurring mental illness. This role requires exceptional multitasking skills and a firsthand knowledge of current requirements under the Oregon Administrative Rule (24 Hour Adults, 24 Hour Children, Community Living, and Supported Living rules). Position: Lane County Area Director Location: Eugene Administrative Office (with regular travel to outlying offices) Type of Position: Full-time, salaried non-exempt Starting Salary / Benefits: $4,400 monthly Benefits include Paid Leave, Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Retirement Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old when employment begins Pass a State/Federal Criminal History Check Background screening including employment and education history Pre-employment drug screening (for the use of illegal drugs in Oregon) Valid ODL with an insurable driving record to drive agency vehicles Be able to be certified and maintain certification with IF in OIS Be able to be certified and maintain certification with First Aid/CPR Be fully vaccinated (or willing to become fully vaccinated while completing Orientation) against COVID-19 (subject to limited exemptions based on medical conditions, sincerely held religious beliefs, and/or applicable state laws and regulations) High School Diploma/GED (preference given to those with College Education) At least 3 years of management/supervisory experience At least 3 years of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and Mental Health experience PCL is an Equal Opportunity Employer and drug-free employer that greatly values our employees!
