This makes me incredibly sad to type this out right now, but I have a 5 month old female Airedale Terrier x Husky mix named Ellie that needs to be rehomed. She doesn’t have her shots yet and she’s not spayed. She’s working on her potty training and she’s come a long way with it. She has a few accidents here and there but that’s when I’m too late to get her out the door. She’s good with cats and good with other dogs. But I suggest that if you have a small dog in your home, I wouldn’t consider her because that’s why we’re giving her up. She plays with our other dog (a Mini Aussie) just fine but she’s too rough and doesn’t know her own strength. She leaves puncture wounds in her back that keeps scabbing over and I try my best to watch their play but it’s not something I can stop because my other dog doesn’t give any indication that she’s hurt. So I suggest she go to a home with another big dog that’ll be able to teach her how to play better or a no dog home. Ellie also loves children but she is a jumper, so if you have children be mindful of that. We’ve been trying to break her of that habit but it’s a process. She pulls on leash but isn’t too bad, she just needs the training. She really is a good dog and a huge love bug! I just want to give her a home she can thrive in and also for my other dog to live a stress-free life. Ellie will come with a crate and bed. There will be a small rehoming fee just so I know she’s going to the right home and not someone who collects free animals. We’re located in Canton, NY. You can contact me at
